Rabbi Y.L. Levin, Moscow Chief Rabbi, in a letter addressed to Michael Carber, president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, extended Passover greetings to the Canadian Jewish community and expressed the hope that “peace will spread throughout the whole world.”

The letter also acknowledged the congratulatory message sent to Rabbi Levin by Mr. Garber on behalf of the organized Canadian Jewish community on the occasion of the recent celebration of Rabbi Levin’s 70th birthday. The exchange of correspondence was in Hebrew.
