Most European Union nations will likely maintain their current relations with Iran even if 13 Jews being tried for spying for Israel are given lengthy prison sentences, according to diplomats. “I expect the European attitude will be to criticize the procedure but carry on more or less with business as usual,” one diplomat told Reuters. A verdict in the case is expected later this month.
