The New Zionist Organization announced in a communique today that President Vladimir Jabotinsky had left for Eastern Europe where he was scheduled to address meetings in 35 cities.

Mr. Jabotinsky’s tour, the communique declared, was to inaugurate a campaign by the N.Z.O. to convene a “Parliament of Jewish Distress,” representing eastern Jewry. At the same time, the organization has begun a worldwide registration of Jews capable of bearing arms in view of possible formation of military Jewish units for Palestine. The communique expressed the hope that 10,000 Jews would be enlisted in a Jewish army “which may play a decisive role in realization of larger Zionism.”
