The entire inspired German press is filled today with stories celebrating the first anniversary of the German-Polish pact and hailing the achievement of friendship between the two nations.
Practically every paper carries articles and editorials, an interview with Adolf Hitler reprinted from Gazeta Polsak, official organ of the Polish government, and a message of greeting from Colonel Jozef Beck, Polish Foreign Minister.
The leaders of both nations have seized the right moment to make peace and to establish friendly relations, Colonel Beck declares.
In his interview in the Polish newspaper, Reichsfuehrer Adolf Hitler stresses the Nazi racial teaching which, he proclaims, “does not desire the annexation of foreign peoples, since that would only weaken our nation. Therefore our movement is able to respect the integrity of other nations bordering our frontiers.”
