Anti-Jewish excesses were reported today in a number of cities in the district of Posnania, all of them not far from the German border.

In Oborniki, rioters ranged through the town smashing windows of Jewish-owned shops and shouting demands that Jews leave.

In the towns of Leszno and Wronki posters were put up urging a boycott against Jews. In Rawicz a mob attacked a number of Jewish homes, crying, “Bolsheviks, go back to Russia.”

A number of Jewish houses were wrecked in Czernkowo and several Jews were beaten up.
