A new Zionist group, composed of many young Jews born in this country as well as some professionals who were born outside Mexico, was formed here today under the name of “Zionist Unity, ” dedicated to a program of cooperation with all Zionist groups but avoiding identification with any specific political party in Israel.
Jose Krauze was elected chairman of the non-partisan Zionist group, and the vice-chairman is the well-known Spanish language journalist, Sergio Nudelsterjer. The group issued a call to all second-generation Jews in this country to Join the “Zionist Unity” movement.
