Niagara Falls Opens Its First Campaign

The Jewish community of this city inaugurated the first Jewish Federation drive in its history with a dinner at which Eugene Warner, president of the Buffalo Jewish Federation and head of the State Federation, was the principal speaker.

The dinner was presided over by Franklin C. Wisbaum, president of the newly formed Federation, and Joseph A. Goldstein, campaign director. Others who took part in the function were Major Max H. Elbe, chairman of the big gifts committee; Rabbi Abba M. Fineberg and Rabbi Samuel I. Porrath.
