No Palestinian will be entitled to receive resident status or citizenship in Israel until further notice, Israel’s government decided. At Sunday’s weekly Cabinet meeting, the government approved new measures to “prevent the presence and settlement in Israel of illegal residents from the Palestinian Authority,” the Cabinet said in a statement.
