Four hundred guests, including members of all branches of the government and of the consular corps, witnessed the opening last night of an exhibition of contemporary Israeli painting at the Montreal National Museum. The exhibit was opened by Israel Ambassador Michael Comay. It includes 55 paintings by 14 artists and was arranged by the Israel Consulate General. The exhibition will tour other major Canadian cities during the winter season.
