Noted German Architect Dies in Palestine

Alexander Barwald, noted architect, formerly of Berlin, died here today at the age of 53. Mr. Barwald designed the Technicum building housing the Hebrew Technical Institute, a training school of a high order for engineer and architects at Haifa. He also designed the Central Hospital which has just been completed in the Emek of Palestine. Mr. Barwald had lived in Palestine since 1912.
