Prayers for the Greek nation were held today in the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue (Congregation Shearith Israel), oldest Jewish congregation in America, with Rabbi David de Sola Pool officiating. Among those participating were Bishop Athynagoras of the Greek Orthodox Church, Greek Consul-General Nicholas G. Lely and many Greek Jews.
