One of Europe’s leading Islamic intellectuals is being sued for racial incitement after publishing anti-Semitic remarks. Tariq Ramadan, a professor of Islamic studies at the University of Geneva, who has sought to build links between European Islamic youth and the anti-globalization movement, recently published an article attacking French Jewish intellectuals for what he claimed is sectarianism.
