The statement last week by Brigadier John B. Glubb Pasha, British commander of Transjordan’s Arab Legion, that any attempt to implement the Anglo-American inquiry committee’s recommendation for the transfer of 100,000 Jews to Palestine would lead to war between the Arab states and British, was sharply attacked today by the Palestine Post. The newspaper charged him with inciting the Arabs to murder and pillage.
