Palestine Pickets End Sixty-day Jail Terms

Simeon Kushnir, head of the Agricultural Workers’ Federation of the Histadruth, B. Minkowsky, D. Schuchman and E. Kantor, who were sentenced to imprisonment for unlawful picketing at Kfar Saba, left jail today on completion of their terms. Each served two months with hard labor. They had asked to be released a day earlier so as to take part in the funeral of Chaim Nachman Bialik, but the request was refused.
