Palestinians in the Gaza Strip launched two rockets at Israel. One of the rockets fired Thursday struck an open area near the Israeli border town of Sderot, causing no damage. The other fell short, landing inside Gaza. It was the first salvo since Israel evacuated 21 Gaza settlements in the past week.
