Paris Municipal Council Rejects Curbs on Aliens

The Municipal Council today rejected a proposal to exclude alien children from city schools and referred to committee a bill calling for a special tax on aliens. Further anti-Jewish outbursts by Councilman D’Arquier de Pellepoix, were ridiculed by a majority of the councilmen, including the chief of police, who testified as an expert on the alien question.
