Some of West Germany’s leading musical personalities today attended funeral services for Paul Abraham, composer of some of pre-war Germany’s most popular operettas who died here this weekend. He was 67. A Jew, born in Hungary, Mr. Abraham had to flee Germany in 1933. The Nazis banned his music. The West German Government invited him to return home from the United States in 1956.
