Pinchas Rutenberg, prominent Jewish engineer and leader, and head of the Rutenberg Power Company in Palestine, today resigned from the Palestine Emergency Fund Committee. Commenting on Mr. Rutenberg’s resignation, Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the administrative committee of the Jewish Agency, said that the Committee’s work was almost completed and Mr. Rutenberg desired to keep himself free for other essential activities.

“In Rutenberg,” declared Mr. Warburg, “the Jewish people possess a powerful personality whose boundless energy and devotion to the cause of Palestine are great assets.”
