Poalei Zion Leader Here to Stimulate Labor Interest in Palestine Rebuilding

“Jewish labor leaders, even those who have for a time been lured by radical tendencies, have come to realize the important place which Palestine will take in the life of the working Jewish masses”, declared Berl Locker. Executive Secretary of the Poalei Zion World Federation, who arrived here yesterday.

Mr. Locker, who is in charge of the central bureau of the Poalei Zion in Berlin, recently visited Poland, Austria and England and his observations have led him to believe that the constructive task which confronts the Jewish working messes today, from which concerte results for the betterment of the Jewish labor situation will come, is the rebuilding of Palestine.

The purpose of Mr. Locker’s visit to the United States is to stimulate a broader interest in this work among the Jewish workingmen and to increase the number of American Jewish Palestine pioneers.

Mr. Locker stated that the Poalei Zion has active branches in Poland Germany, England, Roumania, Argentina and Palestine.
