Police in the Russian town of Marks recently discovered a cache of weapons allegedly belonging to a Chechen gang arrested earlier on suspicion of kidnapping the daughter of a local Jewish businessman, according to the Union of Councils of Soviet Jews. The gang held 13-year-old Alla Geifman in Chechnya for seven months and cut off two of her fingers before she was freed earlier this year.
