One rabbi and two Jewish social workers were awarded honorary membership in the Order of the Golden Cross by President Moscicki for their contribution to social welfare work.

The honors were conferred upon Rabbi Gedaliah Rosenman of Bialystok, Madam Rachel Robinowitz and Zalman Weinik. The two laymen were awarded the honor because of their work in the Bialystok Jewish society for the care of the sick, Linath Cholim.
