Premier Menachem Begin reiterated Thursday that the Israeli government would not interfere in any way with the democratic election process in the United States. Begin made that statement in response to a question after he addressed a foreign press corps luncheon. The questioner referred to Defense Minister Ezer Weizman’s recent remarks in favor of President Carter’s reelection. Begin did not take issue directly with Weizman.
