President Eisenhower hailed the American Women’s ORT today in a message of greeting in connection with the annual observance of National ORT Day, this year celebrated on March 9. The message declared that “your work is an inspiration to all of us.” and added:
“Your organization’s seventy-five year record of training hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world to become productive members of their communities represents an outstanding service not only to those rehabilitated but also to the communities in which they live.”
