President Yitzhak Navan hosted 100 participants of the World Council for Yiddish and Jewish Culture at his residence in Jerusalem Saturday night. Speaking in Hebrew, highlighted with Yiddish idioms and poems, the President noted the need to refine the Jewish heritage with the cultural contributions of Jews in both the Yiddish and Ladino languages.
