Procedure in Mandatory Petitions to Be Changed, League Assembly Decides

New regulations for the submission of memoranda and petitions by interested parties and the local population of mandated countries to the League of Nations will be adopted following the acceptance yesterday by the Assembly of the League of the report of Fredjof Nansen concerning the mandates question.

In reporting to the Assembly on the recommendations of the Permanent Mandates Commission. Mr. Nansen emphasized that the new regulations will bring greater clarity to the parties interested in the development of the mandated countries and facilitate the procedure for the submission of petitions.
