Professor James Goldschmidt, Professor of Law at Berlin University and Director of the Institute of Criminology, has been appointed to-day member of the Senate of the Berlin University and Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Professor Goldschmidt was born in Berlin in 1874 and was known as one of the most prominent authorities on law in Germany. He has written numerous books on jurisprudence, which are considered as works of international importance.
