The German government neglected today to present an appeal from the United States’ denial of extradition in the case of Dr. Joao F. Normano, former Harvard University instructor. This means that, temporarily at least, the matter has ceased to interest the Reich authorities.
The Normano case dates back to January 5, 1933, when the German government charged that Dr. Normano was in reality Isaak Lewin of Berlin and was wanted here in connection with a $750,000 bank swindle.
