“Step and Fetchit,” an original musical revue by E. D. Gilbert and Dorothy Sachs, with music by Eli Jacobs and Lou Haber. was to be given a Summer tryout Saturday night by the Flagler Players under the direction of Ernest D. Glucksman, at Fallsburg, N. Y. Leon Kairoff, dramatic baritone, Billy Hodes and Jay Golden head the cast.

A capacity crowd ushered in the Summer resort season at the Pinewood Hotel and Country Club at Fleischmann’s over last week-end. A display of fireworks in the evening followed by a long and entertaining stage show in which guest stars from the city participated, marked the Independence Day celebration.

Charles Richman and Moe Attel have collaborated on a drama called “The Wedding Gown” which was given a Summer tryout Friday evening, by the Schroon Manor Players, Schroon Lake, N. Y., prior to its release on Broadway in the late Fall. The dramatic offering was presented under the direction of Tyler Mason with Robert Rhodes and Grace Johnson playing the leads.
