The Prime Minister Bratiano has tendered and the King has accepted his resignation. Bratiano has been leader in the fight which resulted in the adoption of the new constitution.

The opposition parties are determined in their hostilities to the new constitution and have announced that they will use their utmost efforts to prevent its enforcement.

The police found it necessary yesterday to fire at a Bucharest crowd which gathered to condemn the constitution.
