Roumanian Students Renew Anti Semitic Attacks on Jews

Anti-Jewish excesses instigated by the anti-Semitic student group were renewed in the last few days.

Following an interval of several months, the excesses began on Thursday, On Friday evening groups of anti-Semitic students demonstrated, marching through the streets of Bucharest. They bombarded the Jewish stores with stones, breaking the windows.

Several Jewish passersby were injured. The demonstrators invaded Jewish homes in Athens Street, threw stones at the synagogue and broke windows. The students shouted, “Revenge for the unfriendly attitude of Bessarabian Jews.”
