Four soviet commissars desiring to purchase oranges for Rusisa arrived in Anatolia today. They have been informed that Turkey would impose a heavy duty on Syrian fruit en route to Russia.
The Syrian orange-growers have requested that the government allow their delegation to negotiate directly with the Russian commissars.
