Schwartz, vice President of the Israel Bond Organization, returned from Mexico after a two-week visit during which he participated in the launching of the Fall, 1956 campaign for Israel bonds in that country. He said that “the enthusiastic response of the Mexican community during the opening days of the campaign is an indication that this year’s drive will produce outstanding results in Israel bond sales. The men and women with whom I met are keenly aware of the difficult position in which Israel finds herself as a result of continuing tensions in the Middle East.”
