“There is danger in leaving the Palestine Arabs with a bitter sense of grievance not merely because Britain has to fear a rising in Palestine supported from Transjordania but a conflict with the Moslem world,” declared the “Morning Post” today. “Palestine, Arabia, Iraq, Persia and Moslem India are apt to unite on this question and the government should consider whether it is wise to risk a conflict when the Mohemmedans of India are the British main support against the seditious agitation of the Swarajists.

“Lord Passfield sets the interests of the Zionists above the interests of the Empire thus dismissing the Arabs with a grievance unredressed”.
