Palestine is the only country which will solve the problems of “the whole Jewish nation,” Mrs. Sophie Udin, national secretary of the Pioneer Women Organization of America, told the Avukah Society of Hunter College in an address on “Why Palestine?”

“Here is a land waiting for its people,” she said, “and the people waiting for its land. There is great opportunity for Jewish youth to establish itself in Palestine.”
