Sees Polish Demand for Colonies Emphasizing Jewish Problem

The Essener National Zeitung, commenting today on Poland’s demands to the League of Nations for colonies, concluded that Poland was not so much seeking colonies as wishing to draw the world’s attention to the fact that Poland was overpopulated by Jews.

“The Polish demand for colonies is only a step to awaken the world to the Jewish problem in Poland,” the daily declared.
