Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations he would “immediately” move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem if elected president. The Republican presidential candidate also said he opposes the release of Jonathan Pollard, a former U.S. Navy intelligence analyst serving a life sentence in a U.S. jail for spying for Israel.
