Seven years after Israel’s Supreme Court ordered the Israel Defense Force to open its pilots’ training course to women, a female cadet is about to get her wings. Since the court ruling, several women have successfully completed the course to become air navigators, but a woman identified only as Roni will soon become the first female air force combat pilot.
