Shimon Yezior, a prominent leader of the Mexican Jewish community, died here at the age of 70. Born in Poland, Mr. Yezior was one of the veteran members of the Warsaw Bund before the Second World War. He came to Mexico 27 years ago and served as editor of the Forward, organ of the Bund movement here. He was chairman of the Society for Culture and Aid and was a member of the Council of the Nidche Israel Ashkenazi community here settlemen.
