Shlomo Berlinsky, a noted Yiddish writer and journalist, died here yesterday following a short illness. He was 59 years old.
Born in Poland, he came to Israel in 1947. He contributed regularly to the Davar, a Hebrew daily newspaper, and to Letzte Nayes, a Yiddish paper. He authored several books, some of which were translated into Hebrew.
