Some 2,500 Ethiopian immigrants to Israel clashed with police during a demonstration in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem. Leaders of the demonstrators claimed that 15,000 Jews remain in Ethiopia, but that the government of Israel is acting as though all Ethiopian Jews have already emigrated.
