Some three dozen Jewish legislators from across the United States began a two- day conference sponsored by the Jewish Council for Public Affairs and the National Association of Jewish Legislators. The conference brings together Jewish state lawmakers for discussions on issues such as church-state separation and hate crimes in advance of a larger gathering of all state legislators.
