South African Minister of Labor Walter B. Madeley, discussing the assassination of Lord Moyne at a Zionist meeting at Bononi, deplored the tendency to blame all Jews for the murder, stating that the assassins must be judged as individuals not as Jews.

The South African press denounces the Sternists responsible for the Moyne murder, but points out that Jewry as a whole is innocent of any crime. The Daily Mail says that it would be as foolish to attack the Jewish people for the murder as to blame the English people for the activities of Sir Oswald Mosley.
