A cable was received by the Executive Council of the South African Zionist Federation from the South African Delegation at the Zionist Congress in Basle, conveying the urgent request of Dr. Weizmann and Mr. Sokolow that an immediate extraordinary remittance of £10,000 be sent to the Keren Hayesod.
The Federation took immediate action and as a result the amount mentioned has been forwarded by cable to the Keren Hayesod headquarters.
