Soviet Minister Refuses to Attend Golovanov Concert

(Jewish Telegraphic Agency) Soviet Minister of Education Lunatcharsky refused to attend a concert at which Golovanov, opera director who was found guilty of anti-Semitic practices, was to be the conductor. At the last moment Golovanov was compelled to turn over the baton to another conductor.
