Spanish dictator Francisco Franco was not as good to Jews during World War II as was previously believed, according to a new book. In “Spain and the Holocaust,” author Bernd Rother says the fascist dictator made it difficult for Sephardi Jews to find refuge in Spain during World War II because he feared that Jews might foment revolution.
