Point, a new intercollegiate literary magazine, has been launched here. The magazine, which will be a quarterly, is being edited by Sol Sniderman, University of Wisconsin graduate and former staff member of the Hillel Review. Point will do its bit, Sniderman declared, to free the American literary scene of the “Marxian myth.”

Two Jewish University of Wisconsin students were honored here today by being named to important posts on the editorial staff of The Daily Cardinal, campus publication. Samuel Benowitz, whose home is in New York, was named chairman of the editorial board. Harry Sheer, of this town, was given the sports editorship.
