General Yigal Yadin, Israel’s first Army Chief of Staff and its leading archaeologist, was granted an audience today by King Gustav Adolf VI. The Israeli presented the Swedish monarch with a copy of his book on the archaeological findings at Hazor. Gen. Yadin is visiting this country to make a series of lectures on archaeology.
