Approximately 700 synagogues throughout the United States will conduct special campaigns for selling State of Israel bonds during the coming High Holy Days, Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, executive vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization, announced here today.
In addition, he said, many congregations will also organizes special bond drives outside the synagogues during the holiday period. The State of Israel Bond drive this year has set a goal seeking to raise $85,000,000.
