Tel Aviv Council Probes Excessive Cost of Food

The municipal council of this all-Jewish city today appointed a special commissioner to investigate the unreasonably high price of bread and to determine a method for reducing the cost of that staple food. The community has been flooded with complaints of prevailing high prices, particularly for essential foodstuffs.
