The American Jewish World Service awarded more than $100,000 to support Jewish communities in the former Soviet Union. Among the projects funded by the group’s Jewish Community Development Fund in Russia and Ukraine are a tolerance education program, a Jewish Internet center and a legal aid program for refugees.
